Founding

We Support Ukraine was begun in March of 2022 after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, when volunteers were needed to gather critical supplies for the women, children and the elderly fleeing violence and destruction, and medical supplies and protective gear for citizens and the military, and as couriers, fly it all at our own expense to Poland, efficiently and effectively delivering it into Ukraine. 

To date we’ve delivered over 3 tons of supplies, but much more is urgently needed. A number of critical items like tourniquets cannot be shipped overseas and must be brought in by our volunteer couriers. We have developed relationships with manufacturers and can purchase supplies directly at great savings, and rely on donations to take advantage of these opportunities, to sustain timely deliveries of these lifesaving items.
